Port of Miami NCL Terminal B
This new cruise ship terminal building and garage had Lotspeich provide 68,000 square feet of aluminum composite panels to clad the exterior walls and ceilings. Drywall construction covered all of the interiors, and 28,800 square feet of specialty acrylic ceilings reflected the dramatic LED lighting. (Photography by Nathan Cox)
Grogan and Dove Federal Building (FBI), Miramar
For this facility, Lotspeich furnished a "design assist" competitively bid package valued at $5,527,000. The scope of work included drywall, acoustical ceilings, engineered exterior light gauge framing and sheathing, stucco, and Centria Concept Series profile metal panels.
Sweetbird South, Miami Design District
Lotspeich's primary scope of work for this luxury retail building in the Miami Design District was a custom open joint Rain Screens & Composites cladding of the concrete shell, consisting of Ipe ("Brazilian Cherry") wood slats on aluminum furring. Additional work we performed were the drywall and acoustical scopes.
Gables Auto Vault, Coral Gables
The $2,379,000 in work we performed for this Tesla dealership and luxury auto storage facility included engineered light gauge framing and sheathing, weather barrier, aluminum composite dry joint rain screen panels, aluminum vision screens, drywall construction, and acoustical ceilings.
Dadeland Mall Fashion Wing
Our scope of work for this retail mall expansion included all wall and ceiling scopes, both interior and exterior, with the exception of glazing. Exterior work included engineered light gauge framing and sheathing for walls and soffits, weather barrier, phenolic panel open joint rain screen, aluminum composite panels and stucco. Interior work included framing, drywall, and phenolic panels ceilings to match the exterior cladding.
City of Miami Gardens Municipal Complex
Our scope of work for this government center included drywall construction, acoustical ceilings and wall panels, engineered light gauge framing and sheathing, stucco, aluminum louvered vision screens and "single skin" Centria Concept Series metal panel cladding.
New World Symphony Campus, Miami Beach
Designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry, the New World Center’s seventy foot high glass atrium enclosing multistory room “pods” is flanked by six stories of office and mechanical spaces and a 756 seat performance hall. Our scope of work included engineered light gauge framing with structural steel supports, expanded mesh decking, drywall, gypsum plaster, acoustical plaster, pneumatically placed concrete fill (“shotcrete”), acoustical lagging, metal ceilings, and acoustical ceilings and wall panels. Porsche Design Tower, Sunny Isles
This luxury oceanfront residence was clad with 64,000 SF of Reynobond aluminum composite panels on the 60 story high sheer walls, SkyDeck walls, Porte-cochere inverted dome ceiling, columns, and site entry wall. Our scope of work included the design and installation of radial wind load engineered ceiling and soffit light gauge framing.
American Airlines Arena Solar Canopy
Our scope of work for this outdoor entertainment addition to the American Airlines Arena included engineered light gauge framing and sheathing, EIFS at skylight light cove and soffit surrounds, and aluminum composite panels for fascia and soffits at the steel canopy perimeter.
FIU Stempel College Complex, Miami
Florida International University's Stempel College of Public Health occupied this new building, for which we provided drywall, acoustical and specialty ceilings, acoustical panels, engineered exterior framing and sheathing and Thermocromex plaster and stucco, all valued at $3,152,000.
Suntrust Center, Miami
Lotspeich's cladding scopes of work for this office tower lobby renovation included exterior aluminum panels by QC Facades, exterior and interior engineered stainless steel column covers by Forms & Surfaces, Forms & Surfaces' Level E Vivid Glass wall panel system with stainless steel base and trims. and Prodema ProdEx wood veneer phenolic core panels. Also included was wind load engineered light gauge framing for soffits, ceilings, and column enclosures.
North Terminal, Miami International Airport
Our Concourse D Extension work included framing, drywall, stucco, acoustical ceilings, architectural metals, painting, granite wall panels, and doors and hardware. Added contracts continuing the North Terminal Development included drywall, stucco, engineered light gauge framing, acoustical ceilings, and specialty ceilings totalling approximately $36,800,000.
